Pet memorial portraits: Still with you.
A soft watercolor portrait of your pet, made from the photo you have. You'll see it first, free, and nothing prints until you're sure.
Free preview. Old or blurry photos welcome. Name and dates if you'd like them.
Losing a pet leaves a quiet in the house. The spot by the door. The sound of paws in the hall.
A portrait won't fill that quiet. But it can give their face a place, somewhere you'll pass every day and say good morning.
We make memorial portraits gently, from the photo you already have, and we show you before you decide anything.
About old and imperfect photos
Many of the photos people send us are years old, a little blurry, or taken on an old phone. That's normal, and it's often all there is.
- Please try the photo you have. Many work better than you'd expect.
- If a photo is too small or too blurry to do them justice, we'll tell you honestly. You won't pay for something we don't think is right.
- More than one photo helps, even if the others are from a different angle. We use them for coat color and markings.
- Black and white photo? We'll ask whether to keep it black and white or add color, and what color their coat was.
Colors that feel calm
Memorial portraits use soft, natural watercolor tones and a pale background. No bright colors or busy backdrops, just their face and the way you remember them.
Sending one to someone who is grieving
A portrait can be a kind thing to give a friend or family member after a loss.
- Use a photo they've shared with you, or ask someone close to them for one.
- We ship in plain outer packaging, so it doesn't announce what's inside.
- Add a short message when you choose a size. We print it on the packing slip, and prices are never on it.
- It can help to let them know it's coming, so they can open it when they're ready, or in private.
- Not sure which photo they'd choose? A gift card lets them make it themselves, when they're ready.

Gentle questions
Is there a deadline?
No. Your preview is kept for 30 days, and you can make a new one any time after that. Take the time you need.
Can the portrait show them younger, the way I remember them?
The portrait follows your photo. If you have a photo from when they were younger, use that one. You can also leave a note, and we'll do what we can in the proof.
What if I find a better photo later?
Before you order, you can start again with a different photo as often as you like, free. After you order, email it to us before your portrait goes to print, or use it for your free remake. There's never a charge for a new photo.
Can you include their collar or a favorite toy?
Leave a note when you approve, and we'll show you a proof before printing. We can't always add objects that aren't in the photo, and we'll tell you honestly if we can't.
What happens to my photos?
They're used only to make your portrait. Previews you don't order are deleted after 30 days. If you order, we keep your photo for 190 days in case anything needs fixing, then delete it.
When you're ready.
Start with a photo. See their portrait first. Decide later.
